How can I determine my wig size?
How long does a wig last?
The lifespan of a wig depends on the material and how it is worn and maintained.
Synthetic wigs typically last around 4–6 months with daily wear. Due to the nature of synthetic fibres, they are more prone to tangling, as friction from clothing and movement causes the strands to catch and intertwine.
Human hair wigs generally last between 8–12 months with proper care. With regular maintenance and repairs, their lifespan can be extended even further.
How do I cut the lace?
It is recommended to cut the lace approximately 1 cm (about 0.4 inches) away from the hairline. This helps preserve the lace for longer and allows for additional trimming over time if fraying occurs near the front.
At the sides (the temples), the lace can be trimmed closer as needed, as these areas experience less friction and are less prone to shedding.
For the most natural result, it is advised to cut the lace in a zigzag pattern rather than straight across, helping to avoid a visible edge along the hairline.
How do I secure my wig properly?
Most of my wigs are designed traditionally with adjustable straps in the back for a secure fit. Some of my wigs are designed with an adjustable drawstring.
With every order, a kit is included containing an additional adjustable band with silicone grips and wig tape, These can be used to enhance stability and ensure the wig stays comfortably in place,
For even during more active situations, such as sports or rides you are able to purchase a silicone wig grip but it is not recommended to use everyday as they are very tight and keep the wig in place.
Under no circumstances do I recommend using wig glue as it damages the lace in the long run.
Does the wig look natural like the images?
Yes. We don't edit any of our product images, not even the lightning. All of our products are taken directly from the camera folder completely unedited. All of Lacelles wigs are made using a special HD allowing for a natural-looking hairline and seamless blend.
Our lace are constructed with a double-layered lace, making them slightly more delicate and better suited for mindful, everyday wear.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
Can I use a wig everyday?
Yes, yes, yes, absolutely!
Lacelle wigs are designed for everyday wear, offering a natural look and reliable comfort.
They are also suited for commercial use, with the quality required to withstand demanding conditions, frequent styling, and on-set adjustments.
Can I exercise or sleep with my wig?
Lacelle wigs can be worn during physical activity. Human hair wigs are constructed with double-layered lace allowing for a secure and comfortable fit during movement.
Sleeping with a wig is not recommended, as it can cause unnecessary wear and reduce the overall lifespan of the piece.
Can I return or exchange my wig?
Yes. Returns or size exchanges are accepted as long as the wig is in its original condition, with the tag still attached. The lace and hair must remain uncut and untouched. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
How long does shipping take?
Delivery times vary depending on your location and whether the wig is part of the core collection or custom-made.
In-stock pieces from the core collection are typically dispatched within a few business days, following quality control. Shipping times then vary depending on your region.
Custom wigs require additional time for development and are delivered according to the agreed timeline.
All orders are shipped with DHL, and tracking details are provided once dispatched.
SWEDEN ONLY: Can I use a requisition to purchase a wig from Lacelle?
An application has been submitted to become an approved supplier; however, this process may take some time.
In the meantime, orders can be placed through Salong True Colours in Eskilstuna or Sthlm Ladies and Gents, who can purchase on your behalf. Please note that, at present, requisitions can only be used for pieces from the core collection. Custom-made services will be available once approval is granted.
Orders placed through these partners are prioritised, as they are medically supported.
What density should I choose?
Density refers to the fullness of the wig.
Lower densities (110–130%) create a more natural, lightweight appearance, while higher densities (150–200%) provide increased volume and fullness. Selection depends on personal preference and desired styling.
Can the wig be styled?
Human hair wigs can be styled using heat tools such as straighteners and curling irons. It is recommended to use high-quality tools, such as those from GHD, and to avoid exceeding 140°C. Always apply a heat protectant prior to styling.
Synthetic wigs are pre-styled and should not be exposed to heat unless explicitly stated.
Do you offer repairs or maintenance?
Repair and maintenance services are available to preserve the integrity of the wig and extend its lifespan over time. Please note that I only repair Lacelle wigs.

International shipping is available. Delivery times and shipping cost vary depending on destination.
